SELF-CUSTODY

What WAR CHEST is

WAR CHEST is free, open-source self-custody wallet software. It runs entirely on your device. Nobody — not WARTIME, not the developers, not the node operators — holds your keys, can recover them, or can move your funds.

Your responsibilities

No warranty, no liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WARTIME and the contributors are not liable for any loss arising from its use — including loss of funds, failed or mistaken transactions, bugs, browser or hardware failures, or actions of node operators and dapps.

Field-test builds

Versions below 1.0 are field-test builds. They have been verified by automated checks and internal review but have not had an independent security audit. Keep balances in them that you can afford to lose.

Licence and attribution

WAR CHEST is distributed under the MIT License. It is built on the Rabby Wallet engine (Copyright © Rabby, MIT License); the full licence text ships inside every package. WAR CHEST is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Rabby or DeBank, and does not use their names or logos as its own.

Not financial advice

Nothing in the wallet or on this website is investment, legal or tax advice. Tokens, including WARTIME, can lose all their value.

Changes

These terms may change with new releases. The version that applies is the one published with the release you are running.
